Business Development Manager

Pharos Solutions in its Alexandria branch is looking for a “Business Development Manager” with the following requirements

Job Description:

• As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our software company by identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and developing innovative approaches to meet the needs of our target market. You will work closely with the board to define the company’s business model, target audience, and service/specialization offerings.

Must have:

• BSc/MSc in Business/Finance or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the software industry and relevant technologies.
• Fluency in English (additional languages such as German and French would be a plus).

• Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand market reach.
• Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Define the company’s business model, target audience, and service/specialization offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
• Plan, develop, monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitors’ activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
